Warehouse Coordinator
Warehouse coordinator required to join our client, a global leader in their filed supplying to the food and beverage industry, based in the South Eastern suburbs. Reporting to the Stores Coordinator, you will be assisting with the maintenance of the materials & spare parts inventory for the Engineering Team. This will start as a casual day shift position offering full-time hours Monday-Friday with the potential to moving to permanency. If you are looking to take the next step in your career, this could be the perfect opportunity with the potential of moving into a Leadership role.
Key Responsibilities
- Issue materials & parts required by manufacturing, maintenance and engineering employees
- Maintain Spare parts inventory, including out of stock, reporting discrepancies
- Forklift duties and assist with cataloguing and recording stock locations
- Loading and unloading trucks following OH&S protocols
- Review orders and raise Purchase Orders
- General duties as required
Skills and attributes
- A current forklift licence
- Proven experience within a manufacturing environment
- Proven experience with Microsoft office and CMMS systems
- A team player with a positive, self-motivated and proactive attitude is essential
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal with a high attention to detail
