Are you a skilled Boilermaker or Metal Fabricator looking to join a well-established workshop with a strong pipeline of work? Galaxy Personnel is seeking reliable, qualified, and motivated Boilermakers/Metal Fabricators to become an integral part of our busy team. This is a hands-on role offering a wide variety of tasks, an excellent hourly rate and great working conditions.

About the Role:

You’ll be based in our fully equipped workshop, working on a range of fabrication and welding projects involving structural steel components. We’re looking for someone who is competent in MIG and thrives in the heavy fabrication environments.

 Key Responsibilities:

 Heavy Fabrication Tasks:

• Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
• Fabricate and assemble heavy structural steel components
• Perform UB and RHS/SHS welding.
• Use thermal cutting, flame heating, and preheating tools
• Ensure all work complies with OHS and quality standards

 What We’re Looking For:

• Certificate III in Engineering – Fabrication Trade or equivalent as a minimum (Australian Recognised)
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a small team
• Good communication skills – verbal and written
• A current driver’s licence or reliable transport to the workshop
