Are you a skilled Maintenance Fitter committed to securing a role within a supportive growing team who are like minded and enjoy their work. As a Fitter you will be working for this well known brand who are experiencing continued growth and investment in equipment and expansion to allow for ongoing success in a tough market.  We are seeking a like minded Mechanical Fitter who enjoys working in a positive and proactive working environment who has a proven background on night shift and can think on their feet.  The role does require an immediate start on a Labour Hire basis.

About the Role:

As a key member of the maintenance team, you will bring your expertise within the food, packaging, beverage or pharmaceutical environments.  You will be responsible for ensuring optimal equipment performance, reducing downtime, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform presentative and breakdown maintenance on a range of modern manufacturing equipment
• Diagnose mechanical faults and implement effective solutions
• Work collaboratively with production and engineering teams to minimise disruption
• Contribute to ongoing safety and efficiency improvements
• Maintain accurate service and maintenance records

About You:

• Trade qualified Mechanical Fitter (Cert III minimum or equivalent)
• Strong problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude
• Familiar with hydraulic, pneumatic, and automated systems
• Solid all round fitting skills including welding, machining etc
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills
• A proactive attitude and commitment to safety
