About the Role:

As an Afternoon Shift Maintenance Fitter, you will play a key role in ensuring equipment runs safely and efficiently across the production line.

Hours: Ongoing Afternoon Shift (full-time hours on a casual basis)
Industry: Food Manufacturing
Location: South-Eastern Suburbs

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform regular maintenance, repair, and servicing of food production machinery
• Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical faults efficiently
• Support continuous improvement of plant equipment and systems
• Ensure a preventative maintenance approach is consistently applied
• Maintain high standards of safety, hygiene, and quality compliance

What You Bring:

• Certificate III in Engineering (Mechanical or equivalent)
• Proven experience in food manufacturing or FMCG environment
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
• MIG, TIG, and stainless-steel welding skills (highly regarded)
• Commitment to workplace safety and quality standards
• Physically fit and able to meet the demands of the role
• Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
