Galaxy Personnel is a specialist provider of Mechanical Fitters across the Manufacturing with a specific emphasis in the Food & Beverage, Pharmaceutical and Packaging Industries.  We currently have multiple roles available for Maintenance Fitters to work across Day/Afternoon and Night Shift with some of Melbourne’s leading household brands across these industries. These roles are based across the Melbourne metropolitan area & rural Victoria and require an immediate start.

Duties will include:

• Preventative and Breakdown Maintenance
• Solid troubleshooting and fault finding experience required
• Proven background in an FMCG environment
• TIG Welding an advantage
• Installation and Project work opportunities available

Skills and Attributes:

• Trade qualification -Cert III or Cert IV in Mechanical Engineering
• Welding MIG & TIG advantageous
• Pneumatics and Hydraulics an advantage
• Must have a  minimum of 2 years experience in a Manufacturing setting
• Food/Pharma/Packaging background Industry background highly desirable.
• Christmas shutdown opportunities available.
