Experienced Cabinet Maker or Fabricator required for this great opportunity located in the Outer Easter Suburbs of Melbourne. This is a great opportunity to learn new skills and grow within the organisation. Great working environment and great team.

Ideally you will have a background working with plastic, steel or wood. The role will initially commence on a casual basis with a view to a permanent position.

Hours of work will be Monday to Thursday 7:00am to 3:30pm with a 1:00pm finish on Fridays.

Duties may include: –

• Fabrication of engineered plastic products
• Reading and following diagrams/drawings
• Heat welding
• Folding, welding and forming of plastic sheets
• Assembly work with a variety of hand tools and fasteners
• Other general factory work

The ideal candidate will possess the following: –

• Experience using hand & power tools
• A background in Welding, Furniture Making, Cabinet Making or sheet metal highly regarded
• Good attention to detail
• Ability to work in a team and autonomously

Candidates with a background in steel fabrication or carpentry are highly regarded.
