Galaxy Personnel is currently seeking an experienced Fitter, ideally with a proven background within an FMCG setting to join this leading manufacturer of Pharmaceutical products in the Eastern Suburbs.

The Role:

Initially the role will commence on day shift to gain site familiarisation and training before moving to afternoon shift.  The role is initially being offered on a casual full-time basis but does has the potential to lead to permanency.

Key Responsibilities

• Preventative and breakdown maintenance
• Fault finding and troubleshooting
• Work with production and engineering teams to minimise downtime
• Support safety and efficiency improvements
• Maintain accurate maintenance records

About You

• Trade qualified Mechanical Fitter (Cert III minimum)
• Strong fault-finding and mechanical skills
• Experience with hydraulic, pneumatic and automated systems
• Welding, machining and general fitting ability (TIG)
• Team-oriented with a proactive, safety-focused attitude
