We’re seeking a motivated Mechanical Fitter with proven FMCG experience who thrives in a positive, proactive environment and can think on their feet.

You’ll be able to start immediately in a labour hire role, beginning on day shift before transitioning to night shift after a few weeks to support a smooth onboarding.

The Role:

As a key member of the maintenance team, you will bring your expertise within the food, packaging, beverage or pharmaceutical environments.  You will be responsible for ensuring optimal equipment performance, reducing downtime, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Preventative and breakdown maintenance
• Fault finding and troubleshooting
• Work with production and engineering teams to minimise downtime
• Support safety and efficiency improvements
• Maintain accurate maintenance records

About You

• Trade qualified Mechanical Fitter (Cert III minimum)
• Strong fault-finding and mechanical skills
• Experience with hydraulic, pneumatic and automated systems
• Welding, machining and general fitting ability (TIG)
• Team-oriented with a proactive, safety-focused attitude
• Must be able to start on Day shift and Transition to Night shift
