Our client located in Rowville is a well-established food manufacturer and are looking for a new team member! We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented production worker to assist in their production team.

This is a hands-on role involving the batching and blending of food products in a clean, safety-focused environment.

The role will be commencing on a casual basis with an ongoing potential for the right candidate. Our client is offering day shift hours of 5:30am – 2:30pm, Monday to Friday. This also includes 1x RDO every fortnight.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare raw materials and ingredients for mixing
Mix and blend batches accurately following detailed instructions
Operate production equipment safely and efficiently
Follow strict quality control and GMP/HACCP procedures
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Record measurements and batch data with precision
Forklift driving when required

What We’re Looking For:

Previous experience in a production or manufacturing environment (pharma/food highly regarded)
Familiarity with mixing, batching, and blending processes
Basic math and computer skills
Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
Physically fit – must be able to lift heavy items
Reliable, punctual, and able to follow procedures precisely
Current Forklift Licence and Experience

Galaxy Personnel are seeking general Stores, Container Unloaders and Pick Packers for various assignments to join our temp team. Roles will vary in duration and will be located across the Eastern and South Eastern Suburbs of Melbourne.

Essential Criteria:-

Prior experience in general warehousing or manufacturing environment (preferred)
Be able to work independently as well as part of a team
Must have steel capped work boots, long work pants and high visual top
Be prepared to work casual and on short notice
Have a current driver licence and own transport
Good communication skills
Physically fit
Self Motivated
Happy to work Full days and or Half Days
Day shift only
Flexible
Punctual and reliable
Able to do heavy lifting (up to 20kg repetitively)

Some examples of suburbs where work is required – Bayswater, Chirnside Park, Keysborough and Mt Waverley areas.

Galaxy Personnel is urgently seeking experienced Trades Assistants for some of our leading manufacturing clients across the Eastern & South East Suburbs. The roles will require your mechanical expertise combined with your strong hands-on assembly skills. You will be supporting the Mechanical Trades on site and therefore conducting a variety of duties including:

Key Responsibilities:

Use hand and power tools safely and effectively.
Perform light welding tasks as required.
Contribute to facility maintenance and repairs.
Assist with assembly work and be able to interpret basic drawings.
Work independently and follow instructions accurately.
Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with OH&S regulations.

Successful candidates will have the following skills and attributes:

· Previous experience as a Trades Assistant.

· Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to apply mechanical processes.

· Welding experience.

· Basic understanding of facilities maintenance.

· LF Forklift license is an advantage, but not essential.

· Proficient in the use of power tools and hand tools.

· Strong ability to follow instructions and work unsupervised.

· Adherence to excellent OH&S practices.

Salary: $32 – $40 per hour

Schedule: Day shift

Monday to Friday
