They are seeking an experienced Machine Operator who has prior experience with Batching and Blending in the Food, Beverage or Pharmaceutical Industry. These positions will commence on a casual basis and ongoing for the right candidate.

On offer are Day Shift hours of 5:30 – 14:30 Monday to Friday. The flexibility to work on Afternoon Shift to fit in with production requirements would be desirable.

Duties Will Include:

Batching, mixing and machinery operation
Trouble shooting machinery settings and set up
Setting up, starting and shutting down of machines
Quality control of products
Effective documentation control
Forklift driving when needed

Key Requirements:

Mixing, blending and batching experience
Weighing and measuring raw ingredients
Machine operation experience
Previous industry experience in a Food, Beverage or Pharmaceutical environment
Have a good understanding of HACCP and GMP Policies
Be physically fit for heavy lifting
A current LF Forklift Licence

Galaxy Personnel are seeking general Stores, Container Unloaders and Pick Packers for various assignments to join our temp team. Roles will vary in duration and will be located across the Eastern and South Eastern Suburbs of Melbourne.

Essential Criteria:-

Prior experience in general warehousing or manufacturing environment (preferred)
Be able to work independently as well as part of a team
Must have steel capped work boots, long work pants and high visual top
Be prepared to work casual and on short notice
Have a current driver licence and own transport
Good communication skills
Physically fit
Self Motivated
Happy to work Full days and or Half Days
Day shift only
Flexible
Punctual and reliable
Able to do heavy lifting (up to 20kg repetitively)

Some examples of suburbs where work is required – Bayswater, Chirnside Park, Keysborough and Mt Waverley areas.
