We are seeking a Maintenance Planner who is available to commence early 2025 and it is anticipated will run for 4-6 duration, concentrating on backlog of maintenance works and various projects running con-currently. The role will require the incumbent to plan all maintenance activities, utilising MEX to ensure the ongoing success of the business. The role will be integral to ensuring efficiencies and increase the plants assets life and ensure maximum success.

Our client based in the Outer Eastern suburbs in Melbourne is seeking an experience Service Technician to join their team, the successful candidate will come from a strong Mechanical Fitting background in Packaging.
With a proven history in the servicing, repair and commissioning of new and existing equipment this role will offer you variety, the opportunity to build strong relationships with client and enjoy the variety that a Service Technician role brings.
Your role:
*Attend client sites providing assistance in the diagnostic solutions to machinery issues
*Installation and servicing of new equipment on site
*Communicate effectively with all stakeholders in the outcomes of your visit
*Build strong customer relationships with clients
*Produce timely and detailed service call reports.
*Working in line with company policy and procedure
The role will require your proven experience:
*Mechanical Trade qualifications in Certificate III or Certificate IV in Mechanical Engineering or a Tool Making background
*FMCG knowledge/background
*Read Mechanical Drawings and pneumatic/fluid diagrams
*Machining lathe and mill
*Fabrication skills an advantage
*Background in packaging equipment

Must have availability any or all days from Monday to Friday.
Duties will include:
Preventative and Breakdown Maintenance
Proven background in an FMCG environment
Proven solid experience as a Fitter
Installation and Project works also highly desirable.
Production Maintenance
Fabrication – TIG welding highly advantageous
Skills and Attributes:
Certificate III or IV in Mechanical Fitting
Machinery Fault finding and troubleshooting capabilities
Pneumatics and Hydraulics an advantage
Machining, welding skills also an advantage
Food, Pharmaceutical, Packaging experience highly desirable
