We currently have multiple roles available for Maintenance Fitters to work across Day & Afternoon shift some of Melbourne’s leading household brands particularly in the Food/Pharmaceutical/Packaging industries. These roles are based across the Melbourne metropolitan area, however we have a large demand in the South/Eastern suburbs which are looking for an immediate start.
Duties will include:
Preventative and Breakdown Maintenance
Solid troubleshooting and fault finding experience required
Proven background in an FMCG environment
TIG Welding an advantage
Installation and Project work opportunities available
Skills and Attributes:
Trade qualification -Cert III or Cert IV in Mechanical Engineering
Welding MIG & TIG advantageous
Pneumatics and Hydraulics an advantage
Must have a minimum of 2 years experience in a Manufacturing setting
Food/Pharma/Packaging background Industry background highly desirable.

Maintenance Fitter -North subs x 4 weeks AS $65 per hour
Maintenance Fitter – Inner North East – Day shift -temp to perm $57
Maintenance Fitter – Western subs- extensive project exp in Food industry required – XMAS SHUTDOWN $68 per hour plus travel
Maintenance Fitters – Labour Hire all shifts (South East subs)
Attractive hourly rates of $56-$85 dependant on shift. Roles vary from short term labour hire to temp to perm. Labour Hire roles vary on duration based on the specific client site. We currently have multiple roles available on Day Shift with some of Melbourne’s leading Electrical providers. These roles are based in the Eastern/Sout Eastern suburbs of Melbourne metropolitan area.
Our clients are currently looking for qualified Electrical Fitters for the building, assembling and wiring of Switchboards. Your expected hours of work will be Monday to Friday 7:00am to 3:30pm (or similar) with regular overtime on offer. These positions will commence on a casual basis with a view to a permanent position for the right applicant.

Fantastic opportunity for an experienced Maintenance Fitter with a solid background in high-speed manufacturing environments to join this highly regarded manufacturer based in Melbourne’s Southeastern Suburbs.
The role will require your strong mechanical knowledge including troubleshooting, fault finding and diagnostic expertise, across various production machinery where you will be responsible for repairing, maintaining equipment as well as machinery overhauls and assisting on projects.
Your role:
Preventive and breakdown maintenance tasks
Troubleshooting and fault finding of equipment faults
Fabrication TIG & MIG
Strictly following all required safety procedures
Applicant Attributes:
Proven history as Maintenance Fitter in a high-speed manufacturing environment
A Certificate III or Certificate IV Mechanical Trade qualification
A Team player, with a proactive approach
