Galaxy Personnel is a specialist provider of Maintenance Fitters across the Manufacturing sector. We currently have multiple roles available for Maintenance Fitters to work across Day & Afternoon shift some of Melbourne’s leading household brands particularly in the Food/Pharmaceutical/Packaging industries. These roles are based across the Melbourne metropolitan area, however we have a large demand in the South/Eastern suburbs which are looking for an immediate start.
Duties will include:
Preventative and Breakdown Maintenance
Solid troubleshooting and fault finding experience required
Proven background in an FMCG environment
TIG Welding an advantage
Installation and Project work opportunities available
Skills and Attributes:
Trade qualification -Cert III or Cert IV in Mechanical Engineering
Welding MIG & TIG advantageous
Pneumatics and Hydraulics an advantage
Must have a minimum of 2 years experience in a Manufacturing setting
Food/Pharma/Packaging background Industry background highly desirable.
We have numerous Labour Hire opportunities available including the following:
Maintenance Fitter – Western suburbs DS -$68 per hour odd days
Maintenance Fitter -North subs x 4 weeks AS $65 per hour
Maintenance Fitter – Inner North East – Day shift -temp to perm $57
Maintenance Fitter – Western subs- extensive project exp in Food industry required – XMAS SHUTDOWN $68 per hour plus travel
Maintenance Fitters – Labour Hire all shifts (South East subs)
Attractive hourly rates of $56-$85 dependant on shift. Roles vary from short term labour hire to temp to perm. Labour Hire roles vary on duration based on the specific client site.
