Our client based in the SE suburbs of Melbourne is seeking an experienced PIPE welder to join the team. Due to an increased work load this role requires an immediate start, duration unknown, but there could be potential full-time work for the right candidate.

As suppliers to the rail, road, defence, health industries the work is varied, but will require your strong background in stainless steel pipe, work will vary from general pipe fabrication, candidates with pressure pipe welding experience are also encouraged to apply.

Full-time hours are on offer with the potential for overtime.

Skills and experience

Trade qualification (Cert III in Fabrication trade or relevant experience)
Minimum 3 years experience
Pipe fitting/pipe welding experience is a requirement
Conversant with reading engineering drawings
Team Player

We are seeking container unloaders & process workers for various casual opportunities in the Eastern Suburbs such as Bayswater, Kilsyth and Chirnside Park. All roles are Day Shift and will vary in duration.

Prior experience in general labouring, warehousing or manufacturing environment
Be able to work independently as well as part of a team
Must have steel capped work boots, long work pants and high visual top

Galaxy Personnel is a specialist provider of Electrical Fitters and Electricians across the Manufacturing sector. We currently have multiple roles available on Day Shift with some of Melbourne’s leading Electrical providers. These roles are based in the Eastern/Sout Eastern suburbs of Melbourne metropolitan area.

Our clients are currently looking for qualified Electrical Fitters for the building, assembling and wiring of Switchboards. Your expected hours of work will be Monday to Friday 7:00am to 3:30pm (or similar) with regular overtime on offer. These positions will commence on a casual basis with a view to a permanent position for the right applicant.

Requirements

Experience building and assembling switchboards
Bus Bar fabrication experience
Certificate III Electrotechnology or equivalent.
Read and interpret drawings/schematics and follow instructions
Self motivated
