We currently have several labour hire requirements available across various shifts with some of Melbourne’s leading Food Manufacturers!!

Must have availability any or all days from Monday to Friday.

Duties will include:

Preventative and Breakdown Maintenance
Proven background in an FMCG environment
Proven solid experience as a Fitter
Installation and Project works also highly desirable.
Production Maintenance
Fabrication – TIG welding highly advantageous
Skills and Attributes:

Certificate III or IV in Mechanical Fitting
Machinery Fault finding and troubleshooting capabilities
Pneumatics and Hydraulics an advantage
Machining, welding skills also an advantage
Food, Pharmaceutical, Packaging experience highly desirable
Attractive hourly rates are available and the possibility of permanent positions can be discussed. Rates advertised are Day shift rates.Applicable loadings apply for afternoon shift or Night shift.

Maintenance Fitter, Fitter and Turner, Service Technician

We are seeking experienced Trades Assistant to join our Temp team for various assignments.

Roles will vary in duration, could be a day here or there. Unlikely to be ongoing. And will be located across the Eastern and Southern Suburbs of Melbourne.

Essential Criteria:-

Prior experience in assisting Tradespersons (Fitters, Electricians, Plumbers) general labouring, warehousing or working in a manufacturing environment (preferred)
Hand and power tool experience desirable
Be able to work independently as well as part of a team
Must have steel capped work boots, long work pants and high visual top
Forklift license (an advantage)
Be prepared to work casual and on short notice
Good communication skills
Physically fit
Self Motivated
Flexible
Punctual and reliable

We currently have multiple roles available on Day Shift with some of Melbourne’s leading Electrical providers. These roles are based in the Eastern/Sout Eastern suburbs of Melbourne metropolitan area.

Our clients are currently looking for qualified Electrical Fitters for the building, assembling and wiring of Switchboards. Your expected hours of work will be Monday to Friday 7:00am to 3:30pm (or similar) with regular overtime on offer. These positions will commence on a casual basis with a view to a permanent position for the right applicant.

Requirements

Experience building and assembling switchboards
Bus Bar fabrication experience
Certificate III Electrotechnology or equivalent.
Read and interpret drawings/schematics and follow instructions
Self motivated
