We are seeking a reliable and motivated Trade Assistant / Factory Hand to join our team in a permanent, hands-on factory role located in Melbourne’s Outer Eastern Suburbs. This position is ideal for someone with experience using hand and power tools who takes pride in their work and enjoys being part of a supportive team.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Picking and preparing materials
• Assembly of cabinets using hand and power tools
• Machine operation (training provided on electric panel saw)
• General factory and assembly work
• Manual handling of materials
• Assisting across various areas of the factory as required
• Daily housekeeping to maintain a high standard of factory cleanliness
• Maintaining a safe and organised work environment

Skills & Experience

• Previous experience in a factory, trade assistant or similar hands-on role preferred
• Confident using hand and power tools
• Forklift licence is an advantage (but not essential)
• Physically fit, reliable and punctual
• Ability to work independently and in a team
• Willing to learn and follow instructions

Hours of Work

• Monday – Thursday: 7:00am – 3:30pm
• Friday: 7:00am – 1:30pm

Pay & Employment Details

• $28.00 per hour
• Permanent full-time position
