About the role

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Fitter & Boilermakers for various Labour Hire opportunities across the Southeastern Suburbs.

Roles vary from short term to long term, whether you are interested in securing ad hoc days or set tenure opportunities we have a number of positions available. These roles are being offered on a day shift or nIght shift basis.

We do have a fairly urgent SHUTDOWN in the South Eastern Suburbs for Boilermakers /Fitters with CONFINED SPACE TICKETS! This is a fairly immed start and would require a fairly imminent start.

Duties include:

• Conduct planned and reactive maintenance on a variety of FMCG production equipment.
• Shutdown works in a Food Manufacturing facility.
• Welding and Fabrication- MIG/TIG
• Pneumatics and Hydraulics

Background:

• Qualified Fitter, with 3+ years’ experience in a similar maintenance role, must have a strong food manufacturing industry background.
• A Certificate III or Certificate IV in Mechanical Fitting is essential.
• Excellent problem-solving and fault-finding abilities
• Effective communication skills to liaise effectively with production and maintenance.
• Commitment to workplace health and safety
• Some roles will require 12-hour shifts day or night during shutdown periods.

• Background in Food/Packaging or Pharmaceutical required
