Galaxy Personnel is a specialist provider of Fitters and Electricians across the Manufacturing sector.  We currently have multiple roles available across fixed Day/Afternoon and Night Shift or rotational day/night shift patterns

with some of Melbourne’s leading household brands within the Food/Pharmaceutical/Packaging or Printing industries. These roles are based across the Melbourne metropolitan area and rural victoria.

Duties will include:

• Preventative and Breakdown Maintenance
• Proven background in an FMCG environment an adv
• Strong Fault finding capabilities
• Proven Trade skills to meet the demands of an Industrial facility.

Skills and Attributes:

• Trade qualification in Mechanical Fitting or Electrical
• Proven experience working in a high speed facility
• FMCG Experience an advantage
• Solid all round trade skills

We have numerous Labour Hire opportunities available including the following:

South East Suburbs

• Maintenance Fitter – Dandenong – ad hoc shifts
• Electrician – Sth East Subs  – Rotational 12 hour shifts view to perm
• Maintenance Fitter – Rotational 12 hour shifts view to perm
• Electrician – Sth East subs – NS – 2-3 months

Eastern Suburbs

• Maintenance Fitter – DS – Project  (March 2-4 weeks) $$
• Fitter/Boilermaker with brazing exp DS immed start

Western Suburbs

• Maintenance Fitter – DS West subs – Adhoc shifts
• Northern suburbs -DS North subs – Adhoc shifts

Rural

• Maintenance Fitter NS – perm

Attractive hourly rates of $56-$85 dependent on shift.   Roles vary from short term Labour hire to temp to perm. Labour Hire roles vary on duration based on the specific client site.   Whether you are available 1 day a week or ongoing Labour Hire please do not hesitate to contact me.    Please note these roles are for immediate start!!!
