MAINTENANCE FITTER AFTERNOON/NIGHT SHIFT OPPORTUNITIES URGENTLY REQUIRED

Galaxy Personnel is a specialist Labour Hire provider of Trades Personnel within the Manufacturing sector. We currently have positions IMMEDIATELY available for Afternoon & Night Shift Fitters

The role will require your proven experience in Food, Pharmaceutical or Packaging industries.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on a variety of production equipment.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot faults.
• Liaise with production teams to understand operational requirements and minimise disruptions.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of maintenance processes and procedures.
• Ensure a safe working environment and comply with all health and safety regulations.

Background and Qualifications:

• Qualified Fitter with a Cert III or Cert IV qualification in Mechanical Engineering or Fabrication.
• Strong mechanical, troubleshooting skills.
• Fabrication TIG an advantage
• Excellent problem-solving and fault-finding abilities
• Good communication skills to liaise effectively with production and maintenance.
• Commitment to workplace health and safety
• Proven experience in an FMCG setting
