About the role

Are you currently seeking a permanent full-time role on Afternoon Shift, we currently have several roles on Afternoon shifts for experienced Maintenance Fitters from the Food/Pharmaceutical or Packaging industries. These roles are based across the East and South East Suburbs and are available on a permanent full-time basis.

What you’ll be doing

• Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on a variety of FMCG production equipment
• Diagnose and troubleshoot  faults
• Liaise with production teams to understand operational requirements and minimise disruptions
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of maintenance processes and procedures
• Ensure a safe working environment and comply with all health and safety regulations

What we’re looking for

• Qualified Fitter, with 3+ years’ experience in a similar maintenance role, must have a strong food manufacturing industry background
• A Certificate III or Certificate IV in Mechanical Fitting is essential
• Experience in MEX, raising work orders
• Strong mechanical, troubleshooting skills
• Excellent problem-solving and fault-finding abilities
• Good communication skills to liaise effectively with production and maintenance
• Flexible and adaptable to work in a 24/7 manufacturing environment
• Commitment to workplace health and safety
