Maintenance Fitters Required – Multiple Roles All Shifts

Galaxy personnel is seeking skilled Maintenance Fitters to join growing, supportive teams within well-known FMCG manufacturing businesses. Several positions are now available for an immediate start.

The Role
Working within the maintenance team, you’ll support equipment reliability across food, beverage, packaging, or pharmaceutical environments by reducing downtime and contributing to continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Preventative and breakdown maintenance on modern manufacturing equipment
• Diagnose and repair mechanical faults
• Work with production and engineering teams to minimise downtime
• Support safety and efficiency improvements
• Maintain accurate maintenance records

About You

• Trade qualified Mechanical Fitter (Cert III minimum)
• FMCG / food industry experience
• Strong fault-finding and mechanical skills
• Experience with hydraulic, pneumatic and automated systems
• Welding, machining and general fitting ability
• Team-oriented with a proactive, safety-focused attitude

Opportunities Available

• South East: Ongoing afternoon shift, adhoc shifts, or full-time 12-hour rotating days/nights
• North/West: Adhoc -shift coverage
• East: Adhoc- shifts or ongoing afternoon shift (moving to nights during peak is a must)
• Rural: Permanent night shift
