Galaxy Personnel is a specialist provider of Mechanical Trades Personnel across the Manufacturing sector.  We currently have multiple roles available across Day/Afternoon and Night Shift with some of Melbourne’s leading household brands within various industries, however a high volume of these are based in the food, beverage and pharmaceutical industries.

Duties will include:

• Sound knowledge of maintenance within a production plant setting, either in Food/Pharma/Chemical etc
• Experience in High Speed packaging machinery
• Strong troubleshooting/fault finding experience
• Proven background in an FMCG environment
• TIG Welding an advantage
• Installation and Project work opportunities available
• Experience in CMMS Software highly advantageous

Skills and Attributes:

• Certificate III or IV in Mechanical Fitting
• Welding MIG & TIG advantageous
• Pneumatics and Hydraulics an advantage
• Food/Pharma/Packaging background Industry background  advantageous

Attractive hourly rates of $55-$79 dependant on shift.  Roles vary from short term labour hire to temp to perm, whether you are seeking 1 day per week, ongoing or permanent work.  please do not hesitate to contact me. Various shifts and locations available.
