Job Title: Production Drafter Location: South East Employment Type: Full-Time | 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM About the Role: Galaxy Personnel are seeking a detail-oriented and technically skilled Production Drafter to support our client’s production team in delivering high-quality, accurate drafting work. This role is crucial in ensuring that our production documentation and models meet the needs of fabrication and construction, with a focus on efficiency and precision. The successful candidate will have a solid understanding of drafting principles and be proficient in 3D modeling software, particularly AutoCAD and Tekla. This is a hands-on role that requires strong coordination with production teams and excellent organizational skills.   Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and modify technical drawings, plans, and specifications for production purposes
• Modify 3D CAD and Tekla models to align with production requirements
• Extract and work with NC and DXF files for manufacturing
• Organize and manage production documentation including shop drawings, specifications, and material orders
• Ensure deadlines are consistently met with high standards of accuracy
• Perform data entry, analysis, and reporting using Microsoft Excel

  Qualifications:

• Basic knowledge of drafting principles and structural detailing
• Proficiency in 3D modeling software (AutoCAD and Tekla preferred)
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills for data tracking and reporting
• Ability to work both independently and within a team environment
• Experience with structural steel drafting is highly desirable

Job Title: Qualified Boilermaker / Metal Fabricator Location: Workshop-Based | Southeast Employment Type: Full-Time | Monday to Friday (6:30am – 3:00pm)   Galaxy Personnel is currently seeking a Qualified Metal Fabricator / Boilermaker to join our client’s busy and growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled and motivated tradesperson looking for a stable, workshop-based role with a well-established company.   About the Role: In this hands-on position, you will be responsible for a variety of fabrication and welding duties, including:

• MIG and TIG welding, including stainless steel TIG work
• Structural steel fabrication
• Sheet metal work and metal finishing
• Manufacturing of mechanical components
• Fitting and assembly of machinery
• General workshop fabrication tasks

Requirements: To be successful in this role, you will need:

• Trade qualification as a Boilermaker or Metal Fabricator (essential)
• Proven competency in MIG and TIG welding
• Experience working with stainless steel
• Strong problem-solving abilities and the ability to work in a team
• Good communication skills

  Working Hours:

• Standard hours: 6:30am to 3:00pm, Monday to Friday
