Our client located in Dandenong South is seeking an experienced TIG Welder for ongoing work. This role will commence on a casual basis with a view to a permanent position for the right applicant. Hours of work will be 7:30am to 4:00pm Monday to Thursday and 7:30am to 1:00pm on Friday. You will need to be a competent TIG Welder (tickets an advantage but not essential) with proven experience in stainless steel sheet welding combined with MIG welding capabilities for other work. Essential Criteria:-
  • Proven experience in TIG welding stainless steel products
  • Ability to read Engineering drawings
  • Ability to work in a team environment as well as unsupervised
  • Commitment to quality and detail
  • Commitment to workplace health and safety
  • Prepared to complete an onsite welding test.

Our client located in the South Eastern suburbs is seeking  operators and packers to join their team We are currently recruiting for two key roles within a well-established food manufacturing facility. These roles offer long-term potential, with the opportunity to transition to permanent positions for the right candidates. 1. Machine Operator Great opportunity for experienced Machine operators seeking full-time casual hours.  The role is being offered on day shift for training, then move to afternoons once you have mastered the role. We are seeking an experienced Machine Operator with hands-on mechanical and troubleshooting skills. This is a technical role requiring a solid understanding of vertical form-fill-seal (VFFS) machinery and packaging processes. Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate, adjust, and maintain VFFS machinery
  • Perform basic troubleshooting and changeovers for different product
  • Monitor product quality: weights, seals, and consistency
  • Load film rolls, set forming tubes, and adjust sealing parameters
  • Follow GMP and HACCP procedures
  • Perform basic preventative maintenance
  2. Process Worker – Raw Materials Handling Start on day shift, with a view to move to afternoons We’re also seeking a reliable Process Worker to work at the back end of the production line, handling raw materials. This is a physical role suited to someone comfortable with manual work and repetitive tasks. Key Requirements:
  • Able to use an electric pallet jack and walkie stacker
  • Strong work ethic and reliability
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment is ideal
This role will require a reasonable level of fitness as there is some lifting involved, the work is being offered consistently at 38 hours per week and requires your immediate availability. If you enjoy working as part of a team and enjoy working in a production setting this role is for you.   Job Type: Casual Salary: $31 – $36 per hour Schedule: ·        Day shift: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM ·        Afternoon shift: 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM ·        Monday to Friday

Our client located in Chirnside Park is seeking an experienced Maintenance Fitter for ongoing work. This role Monday to Friday and will commence on day shift 7:00am to 3:00pm. Duties will include:-
  • Responsible for the timely accurate completion of all maintenance and breakdowns
  • Ensure that paperwork and documentation is recorded accurately and in accordance with company standards
  • Fitting fabricated metal parts into products and assembling metal parts and subassemblies to ensure optimal running of equipment and machinery
  • Checking parts for accuracy, clearance and fit using measuring instruments
  • Setting guides, stops and other controls on machining tools
  • Diagnosing faults and performing operational maintenance of machines
  • Overhauling and repairing mechanical parts
  • Working in accordance with safety procedures and reporting any hazards
  • Perform low voltage electrical disconnect and reconnect electrical installation work (ideally)
  Essential Criteria:-
  • Trade qualification in Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical)
  • Restricted Electrical licence (ideally)
  • Minimum 3+ years’ experience in a Maintenance Fitter role.
  • Ability to follow Safe Operating Procedures
