Our client based in the SE suburbs of Melbourne is seeking an experienced PIPE welder to join the team.   Due to an increased work load this role requires an immediate start, duration unknown, but there could be potential full-time work for the right candidate.

As suppliers to the rail, road, defence, health industries the work is varied, but will require your strong background in stainless steel pipe, work will vary from general pipe fabrication, candidates with pressure pipe welding experience are also encouraged to apply.

Full-time hours are on offer with the potential for overtime.

Skills and experience

• Trade qualification (Cert III in Fabrication trade or relevant experience)
• Minimum 3 years experience
• Pipe fitting/pipe welding experience is a requirement
• Conversant with reading engineering drawings
• Team Player
