About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Procurement Coordinator to take ownership of end-to-end sourcing and purchasing activities. In this key role, you will work closely with the Purchasing Officer to ensure competitive pricing, strong supplier relationships, and smooth procurement operations that support business performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all sourcing activities and supplier negotiations in collaboration with the Purchasing Officer, ensuring competitive pricing, quality, and compliance.
- Raise, track, and manage purchase orders (POs), ensuring timely approvals and efficient processing.
- Monitor and maintain optimal inventory levels, identifying slow-moving stock and resolving issues to align stock with business demand.
- Ensure purchasing-related KPIs, lead times, and service standards are consistently met.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the Purchasing Officer, providing guidance, support, and ongoing performance feedback.
- Report on procurement trends, stock movement, supplier performance, and delivery efficiency.
What You’ll Bring
- Proven experience in a purchasing, procurement, or supply chain role, including supervisory or leadership responsibilities.
- Strong analytical, forecasting, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement capabilities.
- A strategic, solutions-driven mindset combined with operational agility.
- Proficiency with systems such as NetSuite, Trello, Salesforce, and Xero (preferred).
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and evolving environment.
The role is based in the Eastern Suburbs and we are seeking an immediate start.
