Warehouse Assistant – Compounding, Mixing, Blending, and Batching

Our client located in the Eastern suburbs of Melbourne, is seeking an experienced Production worker to assist with Compounding/Batching and blending of pharmaceutical products. This role will commence on a casual basis working 36 hours a week Monday to Friday.  Varying times of work between 6.00am and 10.00pm. Shift allowances paid accordingly.

Duties will include the following: –

• Preparing raw ingredients for mixing
• Making batches of product as per instructions
• Follow quality control procedures to ensure the accuracy and consistency of batches.
• Assist with compounding, mixing, blending, and batching materials according to specifications and safety standards.
• Operate equipment to accurately mix, blend, and batch products while maintaining a clean and organized work environment.

Essential Criteria: –

• Have demonstrated experience in production environment
• Familiarity with compounding, mixing, blending, and batching processes is advantageous
• Basic math and computer skills for accurate measuring and inventory management.
• Follow HACCP and GMP procedures at all times
• Adhere to strict O H & S policies and procedures
• Have good attention to detail
• Able to lift heavy items

A background in either food, pharmaceutical or similar is highly desirable.
