We are currently seeking experienced Service Technicians with either an Electrical or Mechanical specialisation, who have a proven background in the packaging industry.  Your background in Food, Pharmaceutical or high speed packaging industries will be essential to ensure your success in this interesting and varied work.

Working across the Melbourne Metropolitan areas we currently have various opportunities available with some of Melbourne’s market leaders in this field.

The work is interesting and varied and there are times you will be working fairly autonomously therefore you will need to be self motivated and organised and hold strong fault finding and troubleshooting capabilities.

We currently have roles available for experienced A Grade Electricians and Mechanical Fitters, with the roles having a combination of site work and workshop, therefore you will need to enjoy working at the client interface as well as being based in the workshop when required. Your proven experience in the following will also ensure your ongoing success and growth in this role:

• Good troubleshooting and fault finding
• Installation and commissioning of packaging equipment in the food industry
• Preventative and breakdown maintenance.
• Ability to think on your feet
• Strong organisational skills to organise your day
• Solid interpersonal skills and enjoy interaction with clients in order to build positive relationships
• Good written skills to write up site reports

To ensure your success it is essential that you hold the following:

Electrical

• A Grade Electrical license
• Reading of schematic drawings
• Fault finding, troubleshooting and programming of PLC’s

Mechanical

• Certificate III or IV in Mechanical Engineering
• Reading drawings
• Fault finding and troubleshooting
