About the Role: 

We are seeking a Workshop Team Leader for our client based in the outer Eastern suburbs, the role would ideally suit a qualified Boilermaker/Sheet Metal Worker who is wanting to take the next step in their career.

The role is being offered on a permanent full-time basis, previous experience in an Engineering Workshop or proven experience as a Team Leader working on Projects would be highly regarded.

Duties will include:

• Fabrication experience in an array of areas including, structural from light to heavy gauge
• Supervision and mentoring of team on factory floor
• Develop plans for works, identifying key success factors.
• Liaise with Trades and Management across work areas to ensure successful outcomes.
• Working and promoting a safe work environment

Background

• Trade background in Mechanical specifically in Boilermaking/Sheetmetal
• Proven background in a similar role required.
• Proven experience in Team Leading
• A strong background within an Engineering workshop setting required
